“Screentrade has definitely made an impact in the Cinema industry... in just two years has launched a highly relevant trade publication, is giving us a prestigious event, and has even spawned competitors.”
“Screentrade gives all areas of the industry good opportunity to catch up on developments. I also like the reader response which gives a warm feeling that people actually read what is happening.”
Alison Quinn: National Account Manager, Photo-Optics, Osram
“I find the exhibitor history interesting and the ‘behind-the-scenes’ feel enlightening and probably enjoy wide appeal. The ‘people profiles’ are also very good.”
Debbie Chalet: CEO, Carlton Screen Advertising
“With the determination of Screen International to devote itself almost entirely to worldwide production, the arrival of Screentrade has given us a much-needed trade magazine concentrating purely on exhibition-distribution. It is not only enjoyable and informative but also affirms that the Sector is alive and kicking.”
Jim Whittell: MD, Apollo Cinemas
“Screentrade has filled a void in keeping me up to speed with what is happening.”
Dr Jeffrey Kruger, MBE: Chairman, TKO Communications
“I enjoy reading Screentrade... fills a niche somewhere between what Screen International used to be, and The Veteran.”
Ian Riches: MD, CinemaWorks, Nanjing
“Screentrade is one of those rare publications that dives deep and examines the trends and critical issues facing the exhibitor industry... each quarter, Screentrade brings together business leaders and technology pioneers, and creates a forum for discussing the initiatives that will have great impact on the European cinema market.”
Ann Brighouse, Director of marketing at THX Ltd.
“Informative, interesting, newsy, readable by all in exhibition and distribution... Screentrade is a book you keep rather than throw away after reading.”
Peter Dobson, former SVP International Film, Warner Bros
"It's an excellent and diverse publication, catering for all of us in exhibition”
Paul Schofield, Senior Technical Manager, Odeon Cinemas
"Screentrade is the only magazine that really deals with our (exhibition) side of the industry”
Karl Woods, Manager, The Regal Cinema, Northwich
"I am in receipt of Screentrade and I just love it!!"
Susan Bridge, Cincom, New Hampshire.
"Screentrade is a great publication..."
Jean Ann Mayberry, UltraStar Cinemas, Vista, CA.
"My compliments on a fine publication... there is nothing in our industry published here in the US of similar quality or that is even remotely comparable."
Gorman W. White III, Hurley Screen Corp., Baltimore, MD
"What a wonderful magazine Screentrade is... The exhibition community in Britain and Europe are certainly fortunate to have such an informative tool"
Kelly Hoskins, Director of Marketing, Wehrenberg Theatres, Saint Louis, Missouri
"I remember the thrill of having received the first edition and feeling so pleased that a publication like Screentrade had been produced and I spent hours reading each and every article. The industry had not had a publication like Screentrade for a very long time. Soon the word spread and I was amazed how many people were aware of it and I was often asked the question 'have you seen the cinema magazine?' Being in the industry for so long and in screen advertising since I left college the 'nostalgia' section is my cup of tea. Reading the stories and articles brings back so many memories – memories of people unfortunately no longer in the industry and many of the old cinemas now closed having been replaced not only by circuit multiplexes but by independently run multi screens, too. The circuit histories also take me back and I feel it is really important that people in the industry today should be aware of the history."
