Screentrade Magazine 2012 Manager of the Year

Who is Eligible?

General Managers of operating motion picture houses around the globe. Managers must be employed for the entire period and maintain employment through November 2012. Nominated managers must accept the nomination in late September just before judging commences. We will contact all nominated managers for this approval.

Who may nominate a manager for consideration?
Anyone working with the motion picture exhibition industry may submit a nomination. We encourage, corporate office personnel, theatre employees, industry vendors and suppliers, film companies or exhibitor relations, equipment suppliers, concession vendors or anyone having direct knowledge of manager performance to nominate an individual for consideration.

Submission Criteria

  1. Name, address, theatre chain, theatre location, contact information including email for the nominated manager.
  2. Contact information for the nominating party including email address.
  3. 2 or more paragraphs on why the manager is being nominated. Detail any customer service or above-the-call-of-duty actions, how perhaps they have enhanced operations or marketing specific event that prompts this nomination or any relevant information that should be considered during judging. Describe why this manager is extraordinary and should be considered.

Submission Deadlines
Submissions will be accepted between January 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012.
Judging will take place in October 2012 by Screentrade Magazine Staff and Industry Leaders TBA.

Manager of the Year
The winner will be featured in one or more of the publication mediums of Screentrade Magazine. This may involve: print and web. The manager will be required to submit a high resolution photograph and will possibly participate in a Q&A with one of our journalists. Prizes for the Manager of the Year are TBA.
All winners will have to get clearance from their respective employers to accept the honor.
